SHOULD MOBILE PHONE USAGE BE ALLOWED IN SCHOOLS?
Mobile phones have become a necessity in modern life. In all major urban areas in Vietnam, most adults (as well as many school-age children) own a mobile phone. However, in some context such as schools, the use of mobile phones is considered harmful and inappropriate.
Currently, 16 states in the United States have banned the use of mobile phones by school children. The European Union is considering doing the same. In Vietnam, some schools already have put a ban in place.
But is this ban really necessary? Should we allow mobile phone usage in schools?
